• Note: The instructions below apply to NEC DT800 IP Phones and NEC DT400 Digital Phones on the NEC SV9100 telephone system with InMail as well as NEC DT700 IP Phones and NEC DT300 Digital Phones on the NEC SV8100 Phone System.

Establish a Conference Call:

NOTE: The conference (Conf) soft key option does not appear until there is a live call on the line

While on the line with the outside caller…

1. 1. Press the Conf soft key
   2. Add your second party by either:
      • Pressing a hotline key
      • Dialing an internal extension to add an internal party
      • Dial 9 plus an outside telephone number to add an outside party.
   3. If you are done adding parties to the call, press the Begin softkey.

To Continue to Add Additional Parties to the Conference Call:

1. 1. Press the Add soft key
   2. Add your next party by either:
      • Pressing a hotline key
      • Dialing an internal extension to add an internal party
      • Dial 9 plus an outside telephone number to add an outside party.
   3. Once you are done adding parties to the conference call and are ready to tie everyone together on the same call, press the Begin soft key.

Note: As long as one party from internal phone system remains on the conference call, anyone can drop off and the call will remain intact.
